In keeping with Rapid City’s musical metaphor, B-Sides are the ‘other’ stories. Rapid City is fully of rich characters and stories, and “B-Sides” is our chance to tell those stories that do not fit into the tight framework of the main “Rapid City” title. As creators, it is our chance to try different themes and styles to really find what ill best suit this broad range of material.

In BLACKOUT, our first "Rapid City: B-Sides" story, there are lots of ways to stop a marauding troll from tearing a hole in reality, but in Rapid City you do it by thinking fast, punching hard, and trusting your friends.

Also found within this issue is, STRANGE BEHAVIOR! Writer and artist Matt Bowers lets loose in this creator owned project about a crew of super-powered bounty hunters in a fictional Memphis that is crowded with heroes, villains, freaks, and weirdos of every description.

Rapid City: B-Sides is available through the MONOLITH website and through local comic book retailers.
